As far as I can tell, there are no special gluten-free products (like bread and cookies) available in Bosnia-Herzegovina. In some stores you can get rice cakes or corn cakes. Besides, snack bars only consisting of sesame, pistachio or other nuts and honey/sugar are very common. SARAJEVO Heljić Zelenih Beretki 28 open 7 am - 9:30 pm (weekends?) - rice cakes? - corn cakes - puffed rice: from Macedonia! Not nearly as good as rice crispies, but some kind of breakfasty cereal anyway. - As a bonus: instant rice milk (powder), with or without vitamins added, also from Macedonia. Just add water. Amazing! - soy pudding (last check: May 2007) Veleprodajni Centar Prodavnica br.012 (phone: 033/55-765) Here I got Lays Chips (100% sunflower oil) and sesame and pistachio bars.
